Latin Fusion Food Fantasy

After years of making friends and family happy with his legendary cooking and holiday and special times of the year salsas and home cooked goods, chef Russell - aka "The Magic Gringo", has completed the steps needed to become an Arizona licensed "Cottage Food Program" vendor - authorized to produce and sell Magic Gringo products in the State of Arizona!

The necessary paperwork and applications have been filed with the state and we are now just waiting upon their approval & etc...

While the Gringo expression of quality ingredients, flavors and process will remain the same, some big things will be different once we satisfy all the Arizona state requirements and are issued a Cottage Food Program license. The most noticeable of these will be labeling! Our stuff will become much more official looking and with good reason. Even though we will remain the smallest of small producers, being a licensed provider of for-sale products will require that our labels reflect all the food information, safety & etc... notifications appropriate for the knowledge of paying customers who seek the assurance that products are prepared according to strict food safety standards and are informed much more fully of the contents of all our delicious items.

The Magic Gringo has now completed the education and exam requirements to receive the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) National Accreditation Board ISO/IEC 17011 Certification in Food Handling and Safety - an Arizona state requirement.

Once we receive our state Cottage Food Program license, we will begin posting more product and public information! Until then, stay tuned and be patient as the state people have lots to do and we are just one item on a very big plate!
